Geocaching Slovenia

Geocaching Slovenia is a fun “high-tech” adventure where you use hand-held GPS devices and it is carried out on various locations across Slovenia. Participants are split-up into groups which are given coordinates, that they must locate with the help of the GPS on foot or with a bicycle. Target locations can be found high up in the trees, on the window shelf,  in a crack in the ground or even under water! When a team finds the coordinates, they get the instructions how to reach the spot  where they have an assignment waiting for them that they have to solve together. From here they continue to the next spot. Geocaching Slovenia can be carried out throughout the year and the level of difficulty is adapted to the wishes of the participants.

Location: Velika Planina, Kamniška Bistrica, Logarska Valley, Bohinj, Kolpa, upon request
Season: throughout the year
Difficulty: adjusted to the interests and physical condition of the participants (easy, medium, demanding)
Required gear: sportswear

  • 4-5 hours Geocaching (orienteering with a GPS, trekking, running)

  • 7-8 hour Geocaching (orienteering with a GPS, trekking, running, bicycling)

Extra payments on your request:

• preparing a location for a conference (depends on the location)
• transport to the location
• dinner (depends on the location)
• evening events music program and a DJ
• accommodations (depends on the location)
• upon your request we can record the whole event
